Kenneth Wilka Elected District Eleven Treasurer

Kenneth Wilka Elected District Eleven Treasurer.

Kenneth Wilka has been elected to a three year term as the District Eleven Treasurer. 

The incoming Treasurer was elected to the District Eleven Executive Committee during the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association vote during November, 2021. 

Wilka believes his “previous leadership roles provided him with the experience needed to serve, guide, and promote the profession of athletic training in the role of treasure” he wrote in his summary statement for the GLATA office. 

Wilka has served on the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Directors as President, President-Elect, and Southeast Representative.

The incoming Treasurer will join Director-Elect Ryan Wilkinson EdD, ATC and Secretary Andrea Kovalsky as the inaugural District Eleven Executive Committee.

“It is a privilege to be the Treasurer of the newly formed D11. It is my hope this transition will allow for better representation for the Athletic Trainers in the GLATA region. I am honored to be able to serve my fellow Athletic Trainers.” said Kenneth Wilka. 

WISCONSIN ATHLETIC TRAINERS’ ASSOCIATION (WATA) – HEALTH CARE FOR THE PHYSICALLY ACTIVE

Athletic Trainers are allied health professionals who provide care for active individuals. The mission of the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers’ Association is to improve the quality of health care for the physically active in the state of Wisconsin by the promotion and advancement of the athletic training profession and the licensed/certified athletic trainer.  The Wisconsin Athletic Trainers’ Association currently serves over 700 members in the athletic training profession.
