District-Wide Challenge to Update ATLAS Survey

The Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association introduces a challenge among six states to compete against which state can make the biggest increase in updated and new ATLAS survey responses from February 7th through March 6th, 2022. 

The Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Associations will be the first district-wide challenge that encourages six states to participate in a friendly competition to see who can make the biggest increase in their states’ ATLAS survey responses. .

The challenge will begin on February 7th, 2022 and conclude ahead of the Annual GLATA meeting on March 6th, 2022.  

The six states comprising of GLATA are listed in the following order beginning with the state that has the highest percent of high schools that have updated their ATLAS survey:

  • Indiana
  • Ohio
  • Michigan
  • Minnesota
  • Wisconsin
  • Illinois

  • Go to the KSI ATLAS Survey and Maps webpage : ATLAS Survey and Maps | Korey Stringer Institute (uconn.edu)
  • Open the link to WI on the table of states in the middle of the page
  • On the Right side of the page, scroll through the list of schools and find the high school you provide athletic training services to
  • Click the school’s name you provide athletic training services to.   A pop up will appear containing the information for the high school.
  •  Find the line in the pop up that says “ATLAS Completed:”  The line will identify the high school as either “ATLAS Completed: UPDATED” or “ATLAS Complete: NO”
  • If the school you provide athletic training services to displays “ATLAS Completed: NO”
  • Update your athletic training services for the school!
